The Assembly is planning to conduct a week of business in the north of Wales in June
In an attempt to 'reach out' to the people of Wales, the Assembly has made plans to move its operations to Mold, Flintshire in North Wales from 8th June to 11th June.
The Llywydd, Elin Jones AM, said that "engaging all the people of Wales in the work of the Assembly is one of our key priorities - that's why I'm excited that we're making preparations to take the Senedd north later this year".
SWA can reveal that the current cost of moving the Assembly stands at £250,000.
North Wales is currently one of the most anti-Assembly regions in Wales.
This is money that could have been spent on flood victims or our struggling NHS. Instead, the Welsh Assembly Government have decided to waste it on a frivolous PR stunt.
