Welsh Conservative AM for Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire, Angela Burns who is also the party's Shadow Minister for Health, called for the Assembly to "be brave" and adopt more Assembly Members.
In an impassioned speech to the chamber, Angela Burns AM said that she "absolutely refute[s] all notion that there should be any rolling back of devolution whatsoever".
The Tory AM went on further to criticise the Siambr for the fact that they "hadn't gone for more Assembly Members" and explained that they would be necessary for "critical analysis" and "critical scrutiny".
This renews calls for additional Assembly Members after it was said that politicians have "remarkable workloads".
The current basic salary for an AM stands at £67,649, nearly 3x the average wage in Wales.
Don't be fooled - the Tories are part of the pro-Assembly club. Assemblysceptics should place their votes elsewhere in 2021.
